Tools & equipment???

Just wondering what everyone finds necessary to tote along to get the job done. Shovels, brooms, etc. And do you have storage on trailer or keep it on the truck? I've had thoughts on rigging something up to keep a broom & shovel between the hoppers.

Also, depending on your trailer, you can mount a toolbox meant for a pickup, on the subframe. It's really easy on a spread axle.

You can buy a rack to mount on back of the sleeper to put shovels. But keep a good broom in the sleeper toolbox, it gets filthy in winter if outside, turns into a big ice ball. Otherwise I keep a scoop shovel, stiff bristle witches broom, small hand broom. Plenty of air hose and one long high volume air wand, and one small air nozle for cleaning out traps. That's just what I keep for trailer cleanout, asside from filter wrenches, lights, sockets ect for breakdowns
