Watch out for the Crazies

This week around 5pm on US 20 in Iowa one of our O/Os had a car pull up to them and attempt to wave them down by putting on their emergency blinkers and pulling in front of our driver while pointing at the shoulder. We know occasionally people do this to point out a tire or something so the driver slowed down and pulled over. However, the other car pulled over in front of them, which is uncharacteristic. Our driver then pulled back onto the road and the other car got back in front of them and continued to motion to the shoulder. At the next exit, our driver signaled to the exit ramp and the car quickly jerked onto the off-ramp. At this point, our driver merged back onto the road and was able to lose the car. 10 miles down the road he stopped at a truck stop and looked over everything on his rig and found nothing wrong. While we don't want to jump to conclusions, it seems that the driver of the car had bad intentions. Please be aware out there, especially since this happened in broad daylight. He was pulling a hopper at the time.
