Just look at how these knuckleheads drive in parking lots. It's 30 mph and grabbing gears or 3 mph in the way.

We knew this was a bad idea from the beginning! You have an inanimate object telling a human when they need to be tired! I can tell you from personal experience that I woke up in one rest area after 8 hours off and moved to the next rest area and was still tired so I took a nap! We were allowed to do that when we ran paper and when we weren't on a 14 hour time clock! Right now with that time clock, drivers are forced to push on when they know they should be taking time off to refresh themselves!

I’m guessing most people didn’t make it past the advertisement of the 5th wheel grease before they quit watching the video, but if the had they would have heard about the government report showing a 13% increase in driver fatalities year over year since the ELD mandate, I expect that number to increase with falling freight rates as drivers are forced to cram in every mile they can to save their paycheck from dropping during a recession, it makes driving tired a necessary evil with the ELD, it creates intense economic pressure. What gets me is the BLACKOUT OF MEDIA COVERAGE over this data, I haven’t seen any reporting anywhere else about this.

And you won't! It does not fit the narative of making truck drivers out to be evil!

I saw avideo today that said the FMCSA is moving forward on speed limiters even though there was overwheling responses against it...Looks like the ATA wins again..

Wait until all the truckers start forming tight convoys in the right hand lane as they pass through the metropolitan areas and none of the 4 wheelers can merge off the ramps during their morning commute to work, and road rage consumes the country, how many folks will be attracted to trucking then? Next the government will determine that having a boner is a distraction while operating a CMV and decide to mandate anti boner pills.
