Continue to support trumps trade wars, or support the green new deal and embrace a socialist take over of the economy. It’s hard to believe that any business owner feels enthusiastic about investing in their business given those two choices, its not hard to see what’s coming next.

China has been screwing us its past time to put a stop to it Trump hasn’t been good for trucking but only a fool votes for someone solely for how it will benefit them. I have always voted for the person that I thought would do the best job for the country as a whole while upholding the constitution

Putting the needs of the group over the needs of the individual? Interesting Idea, however our economy depends on consumers and investors to function, most of whom are going to do what benefits them and the hell with everyone else. For example it’s unlikely that a farmer is going to buy a new tractor or combine right now, even though the workers at the factory would all benefit from that as a group, as would the truckers.

I asked how he replied simple he waited till the last minute when it was clear who was going to win. I said so your father never had anything worth believing in I sure as Hell wouldn’t be proud of that But I’ll vote for Trump and urge you to do so because if they win I believe America as we know it will be done

I understand exactly where you are coming from, but we were hauling hardwood that was being exported to China and we were doing about 25 loads week making good money. The 1st round of tariffs came through it slowed down a little then came right back. But now 25 loads has went to nothing. I do believe in fixing the issues with China but it should be a gradual process. Not hit them in the head all at one time. Example.. When we raise rates with customers we give them an effective date. Not say hey my rates going up today. It's like we have to pick the less of two evils again this voting season.

Trumps got my support again. Yes the tariffs had consequences for the price of my beans, but the biggest soybean price killer is OVERPRODUCTION. I can't say for the hardwood market and all the other things affected, but the biggest enemy of farmers are the farmers. At least he calls people out on their crap. My fellow millennials have been getting away with blaming the world, and using the word "like" and "racist" way too much. If I hear aoc use the word "like" that frequently in a sentence one more time, I'm going to lose it
