I have a load to deliver for company A to "x" location; I also have a load to pickup and deliver to same company A that is near "x" location so want to facilitate both deliver and pickup in one trip for company A. Company A wants to only pay 50% for pickup load since we're conveniently already going to be there. I believe pickup fee should be the same as if I were only facilitating the pickup as it is only beneficial for our company to do the 2 loads at once. How would u charge for the pickup? The full round trip as if it were one transaction or do u charge 50% since for same company and same location? If need be, we would do the delivery in one trip and then go back for the pickup n another trip in order to obtain the full fee. But obviously it behooves us to do the 2 transactions in one trip yet I don't think just cuz company A knows this, that we should only get paid 50%. Thoughts please??!! And thank you!

IF I SEND TWO PACKAGES THE SAME WEIGHT TO THE SAME DESTINATION BY FED EX OR UPS I AM CHARGED FOR TWO PACKAGES! WHY SHOULD YOUR SITUATION BE ANY DIFFERENT!

if yer picking up 2 loads with one truck at the same time you can't charge 2 loading fees, however you are NOT delivering to the same location so you should rate that accordingly, i don;t know how many miles "close" is but you will have to suffer the expense of 2 drops so you should charge the shipper for that.
