What do you say about this rule ?

As I read this there is no word about the 150 mile exemption being a 150 mile from your home terminal. It says only that it is 150 from where you load at.

So, that really says you can load , go 150 miles or less, unload and if load . Then use elog to go out of 150 to next load and as long as that is within 150 of unload you'll go off duty and drive on another 150 into next state and continue on doing this .

Also could go 150 , unload , reload without leaving the 150 and go on and on. No HOS. No logs.

I have talked to a couple different FMCSA people about it for clarity in the the last couple of years. Yes, clear as mud. Go carefully.

Yes, 150 AIR miles from where you load it varies from 165 ish to 170 ish miles on actual roads. If you never leave the 150 AIR mile radius you wouldn't have to log anything. Map Radius is a good App to use to determine where the 150 AIR mile radius ends. Livestock feed ingredients are HOS exempt till September 30th of this year still due to the Wuhan Flu BS.

Just to be clear so I don't get myself in trouble. This means I can load at home, wichita,ks, drive to tulsa, ok, unload and if reload , I could drive another 150 miles into arkansas before using log?

One key factor you need to read is as long as it is during planting and or harvest times in the state or states you are running in most of the mid-west states have their planting and harvest time from January 1st through December 31st that leaves the door wide open
