Disingenuous at best. They gobble up as much work as they can. Even the stuff they can't cover. Then they broker those loads at starvation rates. When you complain about they rate they email you an application for a job. How do I know? Personal experience. In fairness I've never moved a load for them. Because of the rates. I drag a pneumatic most days and I've never spoken to them about a load that met my requirement on rate. But to each his or her own. Saying rates aren't cheap when you're causing it makes my toes itch.

We need cheap freight, our fragile economy depends on it. The people in power want cheap freight, and you can't fight the government and win.

I always suspected that was the case, then when I saw how Biden pressured congress to make it illegal for railroad employees to strike it confirmed it, the DNC threw their own supporters under the bus, even after they took all that money from the unions, the Wall Street puppet masters definitely want cheap transportation, then they wonder why the CHU CHU keeps falling off the tracks.

To be fair I don’t think the two party system cares about the working class, all they care about is how they can retire from public office as billionaires on a civil servants salary.
