Just read on overdrives website that elds for ag haulers has been delayed for 90 days as of yesterday afternoon. The FMCSAis going to post something to make it official shortly. Do not know if this is true or false. Read it on overdrive magazine website

I just talked to my transportation consultant and he just the the info on the delay. He said it is going to happen but has no details yet

Landline reported the same news yesterday. It appears the mandate is falling apart, before it's even been implemented. Now that they have given privalages to some, others will be able to sue over the equall protection clause.

I think your wrong on that. You better read the articles. It says nothing about harvest season only. It states ag haulers and livestock haulers have a 90 day extension

Both Trandy and Steve are correct. They have extended the Ag Exemption which allows for all driving within 172 land miles from origin to not be counted towards hours of service, in other words driving hours would start to count and need to tracked after exceeding 172 miles during harvest seasons. And yes, it was posted yesterday that new guidelines would be issued and that the implementation deadline would be extended 90 days for haulers of agricultural commodities.
