Fuel surcharge

Base rate stays the same, rates only adjust to the added cost of fuel. So for spot market things like 1 off brokered loads, there is no need for it. You just figure the current days costs and do an all in rate

Nutien, Pioneer and Viterra are pretty much the only ones who publish rate sheets with fsc. the term pocketing is cute though....

It's still the bottom line. Hopefully you have your "ducks in a row". I just read an article in Overdrive saying a fuel price surge is likely this winter.
