Posted by a private BulkLoads.com member. what nobody ever takes into consideration with these oilfield operations is the complete thrashing of your vehicle all the traffic that's worse than Chicago any day of the week wait time that is ridiculous and there is no where to stay except in your truck and fuel is usually way overpriced I just got back from a really good gig in East Texas turned out it wasn't so good but it sure did look good on paper and it sounded real great on the phone

No smooth roads all the way to the middle of nowhere where the well sites are located. No motels lining the lease roads. That’s what a sleeper cab is for.
