TQL loads

I live in ND so would work out good for me. I call and the guy says " uhhh yea those are actually out of Sidney MT just put that on there to try and get more calls" I have never delt with load boards or TQL, is this type of shitty busness normal on here?

We pull some flatbed freight around the country and its the same crap, I won't even call on a load if TQL has it anymore. I've even been told cities on the phone that are posted on the listing, agree to a price, get the load con and then the real cities are revealed 50+ miles farther and they just expect you to do it. I called back and confronted them about it and they acted like it was disclosed in the phone call, I refused the load and the guy went off on a cussing spree, the are UNBELIEVABLE.

TQL has to be the worst in the industry, how they continue to get work is beyond me. We pull some flatbed freight around the country and its the same crap, I won't even call on a load if TQL has it anymore.

I've even been told cities on the phone that are posted on the listing, agree to a price, get the load con and then the real cities are revealed 50+ miles farther and they just expect you to do it. I called back and confronted them about it and they acted like it was disclosed in the phone call, I refused the load and the guy went off on a cussing spree, the are UNBELIEVABLE.

Yea 50 miles is bad enough, this load was 385 miles the opposite direction and in a different damn state. I will make sure i steer clear of them in the future.

I also think we need to understand if we are in control of this industry!!!! I think, if the word gets out enough about some of these brokers and practices they perform, we can blacklist them. I think, brokers need to realize that we are the ones in control of this industry. I also think we need to understand if we are in control of this industry!!!! I think, if the word gets out enough about some of these brokers and practices they perform, we can blacklist them. I’ve been afraid in history for over 30 years and I could tell you, there’s a few that blacklisted me because i have exposed them.

Thier rates are lowest in the industry and they will call you frequently to check your status. TQL shouldn't even be in the hopper world. No one hauls hopper loads for 97 cents a mile.

Last week, TQL called the broker I run for and asked if she would be open to letting them "double broker" some of her loads.. Those were TQL's exact words. She told them to pound sand. So, to those who believe double brokering only occurs when a carrier accepts a load from a broker, then brokers it to another carrier, (I'm wispering now like Uncle Joes does on tv), I'm calling Bulls..t. One of your own defines it just like I do. American, is this a Great Country, or WHAT!!!

I really think this happens because there is no enforcement. Heck there isn't even a way to report double brokering, because I've tried. There is no website, email address, phone number that I could find anywhere to talk to anyone that could help. So far I've blocked one brokerage for habitually posting incorrect loading and delivery locations, I blocked another brokerage for habitually posting wrong product description, and I blocked TQL... because it's TQL and their reputation is terrible.
