Trucking for profit is much like fishing. You have to be patient and be willing to throw some fish back into the pond. Sometimes you have to just throw your bait out the door and snag a big one when it runs into your hook.

Beings that I am currently not in the industry, I have not subscribed as a full member, I have to ask do people use the full membership and are the loads and rates posted fair and honest?

Rates are honestly very rarely posted as anything but fair. It is up to you to know your business expenses and to understand how to make a profit from that. There is no such thing as a standardized rate per mile except what the shippers and brokers perceive it to be. Truckers by and large quit worrying about their profit margin and seem to be worried about some magic rate per mile they have come to. The only ones who make money in this industry are the wise and the greedy.
