Now we know why rates are in the dumper. If you can't even multiply 6 x 2000 to get 12,000 lbs, then you would haul freight for $1.00 per mile or less. Guess she came from the new modern school of estimate math. LOL

I googled this story, there are 3 different news reports on this wreck. It turns out the girl driving the truck got her cdl in may of this year, and recently left her Amish religion. Her co- driver was 17. Who would dare put her in a truck like that?

That's funny I don't care who you are. Bad for a piece of history though. Looks like it's a penski rental truck. Hopefully she will open her eyes to what's going on around her in the future.

Word has it that Louisville Logistics fired her but she starts as a driver trainer for US Express next Monday.

These companies get what they pay for. I would imagine we will see a lot more of this going on just look at who they hire now. About 90% of them arent smart enough to drive a car much less a truck. But hey if you have a clean CDL we can put you to work making good money staying out weeks at a time and making $200 to $300 a week. What a joke!

All they care about is having trucks moving. They don't care who's driving them. Its amazing the shit you see at any truckstop. The roads are not safe that's for sure

In NJ they only offer one day a week for CDL Roadtests to normal people 4 days a week are for CDL schools only. That's why we have all these non drivers
. There is a 6 month wait for a CDL Roadtest if your not in a school.
