Horizon Logistics Inc 9218 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS, didnt pay me either. I ve contacted everyone on their website. It appears they are out of business and have taken their website down, it was hosted by Go Daddy.

Yes, about 2 months ago we noticed freight bills not getting paid by Horizon. I called several people in the company and I got yes, we are going to pay you, "we will get it right out today." I finally received a check and it was hot. Check bounced so I started to investigate further. By this point no one for the company was answering their phone. Shortly after the check bounce I was in Kansas City visiting customers and I decided to swing by the address they have posted on Metcalf. This is a UPS Post Box in a storefront. No office here folks besides the UPS store. Horizon's bond has been pulled by the surety company and they're out of business. What's even worse out of the whole deal was Shad Klinge and Horizon Logistics were granted $2 million plus a year ago from an investment company...... sounds like this money got blown on houses and boats at the Ozarks (just a guess). Make the Horizon group famous!

I dont know what your state laws are..but Nevada you can go to jail for writing a bad check..contact your district attorney's office and talk to them.. at least maybe you will get what the check was written for..

I dont know what your state laws are..but Nevada you can go to jail for writing a bad check..contact your district attorney's office and talk to them.. at least maybe you will get what the check was written for..

There was no intent to decieve so i couldn't get him on theft by deception since he had written me 2 checks "in good faith". Didn't realize "good faith" meant you could write the checks, bounce them once then stop payment on them.
