Who is worth working with?

My question is, what brokers are worth working with and will fight for you? A lot of loads don’t have a price posted and the ones that do post a price are putting you in the negative. If you get tied in with a broker can you make the money you need or is pulling hopper bottoms a lost cause?

Hi Dustin! I am a broker with Wilson Logistics, we specialize in Flatbeds and Vans/Reefers. We do a wide range of commodities. Our loads are always legal. We treat our drivers and customers like gold. We are a two person office, so no having to jump from person to person, we give a more one on one relationship with our carriers amd customers. Send me an email sometime and we can chat!

Bulk I would say Rocky Wells is VERY good, RFG Logistics is good to work with, Tallgrass commodities, Hannenbaum Grain, Reliant Transportation and Ag Source has some real good freight and some not so good. It is all trial and error in this business.

I’d think that if the posted loads had commodity, pay, and actual locations on the listing, they’d be much easier to search and get filled. Not sure why brokers wouldn’t disclose all info when posting .....

just my two cents worth.

I can give you a reason for that. There are great brokers out there and then there are the bottom feeders that will do everything in their power to get freight, no matter what the cost. If you post all of your info out there, it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out what is moving, where it is moving from and were it is moving to. It is simple, if you don't take care of your business, someone else will!
